LPD looking for suspect in Thursday afternoon home invasion
Lubbock Police are looking into the report of home invasion in west Lubbock. Authorities say someone entered the home in the 6400 block of 33rd street just after 1 pm on Thursday.
The suspect held a man and woman at gunpoint for several minutes. Luckily, they are both safe, but they say it was strange that the intruder didn't take anything or make any demands before running away.
Officials describe the suspect as a black man in his late 20s driving an off-white Mitsubishi Galant.
If you have any information you are asked to call Crime Line at 741-1000 or submit online tips at www.lubbockpolice.com.
