Truck catches fire in South Lubbock County

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Fire fighters were called out Friday afternoon after a truck caught fire in South Lubbock County.  The truck fire happened right at Highway 87 and 114th Street.

Smoke from the fire was so thick that traffic had to be temporarily stopped while crews put out the fire.  There is no word as to what caused the fire, but luckily the driver did not sustain any injuries.
