We begin at Bowie Elementary at 2909 Chicago. They get zero critical violations making them a Food for Thought Top Performer.

Irons Junior High at 5214 79th Street comes on strong as well, also with a perfect score.

Next on the Top Performing list is Mackenzie Junior High at 5402 12th Street--they get zero critical violations.

Wester Elementary School at 4602 Chicago is the next perfect scoring cafeteria.

Rounding out the Top Performers is Whiteside Elementary at 7508 Albany with zero critical violations.

Now on to Hardwick Elementary at 1440 Chicago with one critical violation. Employees must wash hands after adjusting clothing or touching their hair.

Rush Elementary at 4702 15th Street also gets one critical violation. Open beverages were found in the kitchen area--the report shows the violation was corrected on site.

The Food for Thought restaurant list is much shorter. There are no low performers and just one Top Performer.

Texas Burrito at 2167 50th Street gets zero critical violations this week, and that's a perfect score. The manager of this former low performing place told me a lot of hard work and organization has gone into this top performance, and they're very proud to have it.
