Gutierrez Invited to Dine With Mexican President

Governor Rick Perry invited Lubbock County Sheriff David Gutierrez to Austin Thursday, to dine with Mexican president Vincente Fox.

The roundtable luncheon featured many influential Texans from across the state. President Fox has been in Texas for two days now, for a series of public appearances and meetings. He and the governor pledged to work out Mexico's 500 billion gallon water debt, owed to the United States since 1944.

President Fox will return to Mexico this evening.
