Death Of Lubbock Woman Ruled Traffic Fatality

A Lubbock woman found dead in her vehicle Tuesday has been ruled the city's 27th traffic fatality.

59-year-old Helen Marie Cross was found in her wrecked car around Noon on Tuesday just north of Estacado High School. Police believe a medical condition may have caused cross to leave the road, but according to autopsy results, it was a dislocated neck that caused her death.
