Texas Tech Law School students have proven they're ready for a real courtroom drama. On Monday, the students demonstrated what earned them first place at the John Marshall School of Law International Moot Court Competition in Chicago last month. Moot court is a mock courtroom where hypothetical cases are tried for the training of law students.
Law student, Shannan Goss, says that for him, it was a great experience in appellate law. "I think it will be something that will help me throughout my career because I had the opportunity to argue before real judges and compete in front of state supreme court justices."
Nineteen other schools participated in this year's competition.
