The Frenship School District now owns more than 15 acres of property which will be used to build a new elementary school.
On Monday, Reese Estates donated the property deed to the school district at a ceremony in the administration building. If you'll recall voters in that district recently approved a $46.8 million dollar bond issue. Part of that money was going to be allocated toward the property, but the Frenship Superintendent says they will find another use for it.
This is the first simultaneous construction project to include sites for the school, family homes, garden homes, a park ,and two areas for commercial buildings.
