Lubbock Police Faced with Difficult Arrest

He was wanted on parole violations but Lubbock Police then had a mouthful of reasons to arrest one Lubbock man on Tuesday.

Lubbock Police say James Harold O'Neal resisted arrest and tried to fight officers off at the South Plains Apartments on 56th Street. After O'Neil was in custody, EMS was called to the scene because he was complaining of asthma. While he was being loaded up into the ambulance he yelled and cursed at police officers.

O'Neil was wanted for tampering with government records. Now, he is in the Lubbock County Jail facing additional charges of resisting arrest and retaliation.
