KCBD Honored Alongside Local Philanthropists

They've supported dozens of charities throughout Lubbock and, onWednesday, three local philanthropists were honored at the 8th Annual National Philanthropy Day Luncheon.

Louise Underwood was recognized for her efforts to establish the Lubbock Regional Arts Center and the Women's Division of the Chamber of Commerce.

The Helen Devitt Jones Foundation was honored for donating millions to non-profit organizations each year.

And, NewsChannel 11 was recognized for it's annual support of 45 different events and agencies.
