South Loop on-ramp to close Monday night

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Construction will start at the South Loop over Bangor Avenue Monday evening.  That's just a tiny bit west of the Slide Road overpass.

Around 6 p.m., TxDOT will close the eastbound on-ramp to South Loop 289 so that workers can do some overpass repairs.

If all goes well, the on ramp and lanes will be reopened by 7 a.m. Tuesday.
