There's a frozen yogurt craze sweeping the nation, which is keeping us cool in this record drought. However, is frozen yogurt really a healthy alternative to ice cream or other sweet treats?
Dietitian Sonia Angel said, "It's usually low fat or fat free, so we're reducing already the calories, by about half. Okay. The other part is, it has the active cultures, which is better for you in terms of your digestive system"
Sonia says the problem is people think since it's healthier than ice cream, so they get three times as much and pile on the nuts and candy toppings. Just like everything else, the key is portion control.
