Muleshoe man accused of fondling teen

MULESHOE, TX (KCBD) -

A Muleshoe man has been arrested and charged with indecency with a child after investigators say he broke into an Odessa home and fondled a 14-year-old girl.

Michael Eric Jaramillo, 22, is being held in the Ector County Detention Center in Odessa on a $100,000 bond.

Jaramillo was arrested early Sunday morning, when a mother called deputies and reported that her 14-year-old daughter woke her up and told her that a strange man entered her room and touched her buttocks and breasts.

Deputies say Jaramillo was then discovered hiding in a bathroom, where he was arrested. According to his arrest affidavit, Jaramillo admitted to fondling the teen.
