Women's Protective Services hold tractor raffle

Food and music provided the perfect backdrop for an event in Lubbock, aimed at helping local victims of domestic violence.

Saturday evening, Women's Protective Services held their 12th annual John Deere Raffle Fundraiser.  The event was held at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.  All proceeds from the event will go directly to W.P.S.  They use the money to provide support services to victims of domestic violence.

For a $100 donation, attendees were give a raffle ticket, with a chance to win one of four John Deer Gators, or a neighborhood electric vehicle.  Guests were also treated to barbeque, music, and a silent auction.
