Texas Tech University holds "Back to School Fiesta" - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Texas Tech University offered up the chance for area students and their parents to learn about the school and all that it offers. 

Hundreds of students and their families attended the 11th Annual Back to School Fiesta.  The event took place at the United Spirit Arena and featured free health screenings.  It also offered college preparation workshops, parent workshops, a community fair, and a school fair.

The event was free to those who attended.
