More than 150 Girl Scouts from across the area volunteered their time and energy at the South Plains Food Bank Saturday. They filled bags with food to be delivered to the needy across the south plains.
The Girl Scouts say it's a good way to kick off the holiday season and give to others who are less fortunate. "We're getting all the little girls out here and they're just filling up bags and doing all this great stuff," says Girl Scout Dana Crites.
This is the fourth year in a row that the Girl Scouts are helping the food bank during the holiday season.
