Unsolved Murders Lead Police To Offer $2,000 Rewards For Information

Last month 36-year-old Reynaldo Valdez Junior was shot to death in his front yard. Witnesses say he walked up to the car just before the shooting. That vehicle is described to be similar to a mid-90's, Silver Chevy Caprice with spinner wheels. A $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can lead police to the suspects involved in this shooting.

A $1,000 reward is also being offered to anyone who can assist police in finding the person who killed a Lubbock woman. 21-year old Cynthia Palacio was found strangled in a bar ditch just West of Slaton last July.

If you have any information on either of these crimes, police ask that you call Crime Line at 741-1000 .
