Lubbock robbery suspect arrested

From Lubbock Police Department:

On August 12, around 7:40 PM, the suspect approached the victim outside his residence at 3003 31st and forced him inside the residence at gunpoint.  The suspect held the occupants of the residence at gunpoint and stole several items of property before fleeing.

LPD investigators were able to identify the suspect as Jonathan Sanchez 09/25/85 and, with the assistance of the District Attorney's Office, obtained a warrant for his arrest.

On Monday 8/22 around 8:00 PM officers located Sanchez in the 1300 block of 28th street.  Sanchez tried to run from officers on foot but was quickly taken into custody. Sanchez was placed under arrest for the Aggravated Robbery warrant and Evading Arrest.  He is currently being held in the Lubbock County Jail on the above charges.
