Making an Impact on the Community During Thanksgiving Time - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Tuesday night, students in Frenship's "Impact" class will host a banquet that will raise awareness of the less fortunate in our community.

Those attending will receive a meal made from the Lubbock Food Bank Soup Base. Everyone will take home their empty handcrafted ceramic bowl and a better idea of "what it's like to be hungry at Thanksgiving."

The Empty Bowls Banquet will be held at the Frenship High School south cafeteria. It begins at 6:30pm, and the cost is $10, all funds raised will be given to families that need a little help with food, clothing, and gifts this holiday season.
