An independent panel of experts commissioned by the Federal Government reviewed the data on eight vaccines from over one thousand studies.
They found no evidence that vaccines cause autism or type-one diabetes. They decided the reason some people are hesitant to vaccinate their children is they don't remember how bad the diseases were.
Dr. Ellen Wright Clayaton said, "Vaccines are the victim of their own success. When people were terrified of the disease they were breaking down the doors to get these vaccines. Now that they're not terrified, they're focusing more on the risks that these vaccines cause."
At one time, measles was one of the biggest killers in the world, but because of vaccinations, it is rarely seen in the United States anymore.
