LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

In separate cases, men from Post and Lubbock pleaded guilty last week on charges related to child pornography.

Ricky Steve Farris of Post admits to Receipt of a Visual Depiction of a Minor in Sexually Explicit Conduct.  Court records say Farris used peer-to-peer software to download images of underage girls.  The computer file names listed in court records indicate that one of the girls might have been only 9 years old.  Farris will be sentenced at a later date to no more than five years in federal prison.

Andrew Stuart McDaniel of Lubbock admits to Possession of Child Pornography.  Court records say he, like Farris, used peer-to-peer software to download images of underage girls.  Court records, based on the computer file names, indicate one of the girls might have been only 11 years old.  McDaniel will be sentenced at a later date to no more than 10 years in prison.
