Tyler police working robbery at credit union - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Possible suspect truck photo released in credit union robbery

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Tyler police responded to a call at the Altra Federal Credit Union in the 5523 block of Troup Hwy across from Trane.

According to police, the suspect approached the counter and gave the teller a note and verbally communicated to the teller that this was a robbery. The suspect then revealed a weapon under his coat.

The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and he left the building.

The suspect is described as a 30-year-old white male, wearing a black Fedora hat, glasses and a yellow shirt with a black sports coat, jeans and brown shoes. There is no vehicle description at this time.

Tyler Police and the FBI are still investigating the scene. The bank remains closed.
