United Way 'Grills' Up the Bucks

United Way of Lubbock teamed up with the "World's Largest Grill" Monday in an effort to meet their goal. Monday afternoon at the United Supermarket on 82nd and Frankford, Mrs. Baird's brought out their giant grill, and served up turkey sandwiches to the public in an effort to raise more money for United Way.

United Way was about $100,000 short of their goal this year, so they extended their deadline to Thanksgiving.
