More property seized from convicted businessman goes to auction

More property seized from former Lubbock businessman Benny Judah goes up on the Auction block.

A commercial building half-owned by Judah at 3132 50th will be auctioned on September 21st.  It's 5,895 square feet, built in 1977, with a taxable value of roughly $300,000.  The auction will be on the property itself at 2 PM.

Proceeds from Judah's half will go toward paying back his victims in a Ponzi scheme for which Judah is now serving 25 years in prison.  He accepted roughly $50 million in Lubbock area investors, and court records say they have so far only 26 percent of their original investments.
