Lubbock Motorist Sought For Aggravated Assault

Authorities are looking for a Lubbock woman, who was indicted on aggravated assault charges Monday.

The charges stem from a traffic crash in the 5700 block of 4th Street about two months ago. The indictment alleges that 24-year-old Pola Baca acted recklessly by driving around several cars and entering the intersection. That's where her car collided with a motorcycle seriously injuring the woman on it. Michelle Akeson was paralyzed as a result of her injuries.

Police say not only was Baca an unlicensed driver, but she also never completed a driving course.
