A Lubbock County Grand Jury handed down a series of indictments on Tuesday.

25-year-old Samuel Ortega was indicted for failure to stop and render aid. He will be charged with serious bodily injury resulting in death and tampering with evidence. All of these charges involve the hit and run death of Jose Trejo.

Also indicted was Doctor David Gonzalez-Gibler.
