Motorcycle rider dies from crash, new details emerge

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Police say the man from Tuesday evening's traffic accident along the South Loop access road between Quaker and Indiana died Tuesday night just after 11:30 p.m.

Lino Rojas, Jr., 47, was rushed to the hospital just around 7 p.m., having suffered head trauma when his motorcycle crashed.  Police say he wasn't wearing a helmet.

A written summary from police says Rojas had to swerve suddenly when traffic in front of him slowed down.  The summary says his motorcycle "rolled" when he lost control.  The summary does not say if speed was a factor, nor does it mention any other drivers for citations.
