Woman rescued from burning home dies

An elderly woman rescued from a burning home in east Lubbock has passed away. Danielle Anderson died last Friday after she suffered burns and smoke inhalation last month during a fire in the 1800 of east 26th street.

She was rescued from her home by an administrator from Dunbar Middle School who ran into the burning home and pulled her out. She was 72-years old.

There will be a memorial service held for Danielle Anderson on Saturday, Sept. 17.
