LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Three Frenship High School students are still hospitalized after a rollover accident at 23rd and Milwaukee Ave. Wednesday afternoon.

Lubbock firefighters rescued two people who were trapped in a Dodge truck. Ivan Uribe, 15, was trapped on the diver's side. Firefighters worked nearly 30 minutes to free him. Uribe is in critical condition.

Isaiah Washington, 15, was trapped on the passenger side. He is in serious condition.

The third passenger Anthony Solis, 15, was in the back seat and was ejected from the vehicle. He is in serious condition.

Uribe and Washington were both wearing seat belts. It is unknown if Solis was wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck.

The Lubbock Police Department says the truck was going northbound on Milwaukee and was traveling at an unsafe speed.  Witnesses say they saw two vehicles racing. Police say the truck attempted to change lanes from the right to the center lance but swerved back because of traffic. The driver lost control and collided with a telephone pole and a tree that was uprooted.

All three victims were taken to University Medical Center.

Frenship High School is offering counseling for anyone who needs it.

Police are asking anyone who saw the accident happen to please call crimeline at 806-741-1000.
