LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Some Lubbock folks are trying to preserve the community's history and they sure could use your help.

The Lubbock Heritage Society is hosting a photo-sharing event Saturday from 2 to 4 PM at the St Paul Annex, 1510 Avenue X.  Those with photos of people, places, or events related to Lubbock history are asked to bring in the photos, which will be scanned on-site by volunteers and given right back. Photos will be used in a forthcoming book about Lubbock history.

The Lubbock Heritage Society will offer refreshments.  For more information call 392-4949.
