'Footprints of History' Walks Into East Lubbock

A City of Lubbock project, four years in the making, is finally a reality. Lubbock City Councilman, T.J. Patterson, was on hand for the ribbon-cutting of the new M.L.K Memorial.

It is entitled "Footprints of History," and consists of 60 symbolic footprints and the names of people who have made contributions that have enhanced the Lubbock Community.

The memorial is located south of the waterfall at Dunbar Historical Lake, east of M.L.K Boulevard.
