Authorities still searching for two arsonists

The hunt continues for two people accused of trying to burn down a Lubbock night club.

Surveillance footage shows two people try to break a window a La Kumbia, at 50th and Avenue Q, early Sunday morning. The two tried to throw gas cans through the window, but it did not break. They also threw two more cans on the roof.

Nikos Kouris, the owner of La Kumbia, believes the two suspects were mad about getting thrown out of another club earlier that night.

"Due to the high profiling we have there we escorted 2 subjects out because they were dressed inappropriately so we believe they used this as retaliation so they came over here to start a fire." stated Nikos Kouris.

If you know who these suspects are, please call Crime Line at 741-1000.
