Today is September 21st or World Alzheimer's day. That's a type of dementia that robs people of their memory and personality. Alzheimer's affects nearly five and a half million Americans. While the majority of those are 65 and older, about five percent develop early-onset Alzheimer's, which can affect people in their 40's and 50's. There is still no cure, but studies show that eating a well balanced diet and exercising the body and the brain may reduce your risk for developing Alzheimer's.
