Former Shallowater Mayor Appointed To State Board

The former Mayor of Shallowater was appointed to the Texas Motor Vehicle Board Thursday by Governor Rick Perry.

Mike Arismendez, Jr. will serve on the board through January 31st of 2009. The nine-member board regulates the New and Used Motor Vehicle Industry in Texas and enforces the Texas Motor Vehicle Commission Code and the Texas Lemon Law.
