Botox may be available in gel form rather than facial shots

If you've considered getting Botox treatments, but you're afraid of the needles, you may soon be in luck. Clinical trials are underway for a wrinkle fighting topical gel that has the same ingredient as injectible Botox.  So far, studies show it successfully reduced wrinkles in 89-percent of the 270 patients who tried it. Researchers say it works by penetrating the skin and relaxing the underlying facial muscles. Even though it's just a gel, it still needs to be applied by a doctor. Sounds interesting, but it's still waiting for approval from the FDA.
