Motorcycle rider injured in Monday crash

A motorcycle rider, Mark Grummitt, 37, suffered moderate injuries yesterday when a driver in a White Honda collided with him in the 4400 block of 50th Street.

The Honda collided with Grummitt's Silver Yamaha motorcycle and continued into the East bound lanes where it collided with a Black Volvo.

Grummitt is listed in satisfactory condition at UMC. No other injuries have been reported.

The driver of the Honda, Nay Tun, 27, was cited for failure to yield right of way.

Grummitt was not wearing a helmet.
