Brian grew up in Houston, where he developed a love for all of the Bayou City's sports teams, but there's always been one sport that stood out amongst the rest: college football. From the time he was little, Brian's dad would always take him to watch the high-scoring Houston Cougars (with David Klingler, Andre Ware, and Tracy Good) in the Astrodome.
Soon enough, Brian figured out where the good football was played--and it's been the Big 12 ever since.
Brian comes to us from Abilene, where he attended Abilene Christian University. ACU is where he turned his passion for sports and writing into covering sports for paper, radio and television. In fact, his first reporter job was at Abilene's KTXS-TV where he covered the state champion Abilene High Eagles.
Brian enjoys football, basketball, soccer, working out, & vizslas.
