The Haven Animal Care Shelter will be hosting a "Strut for the Mutts" dog walk on Saturday, Oct. 22.
The 1.5-mile walk will start at 10 a.m. in Higginbotham Park at 19th & Vicksburg. Registration is $20 per adult and $10 per child if you register before Oct. 8, or $25 per adult if you register on-site.
There is no charge for children under age 5.
Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
All registered walkers receive a free t-shirt. All canine participants receive a free bandana.
You can walk your own dog, walk one of Haven's adoptable dogs, or "just walk yourself."
