DPS Officers Get Their Man After Hot Pursuit - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

One man is in custody Monday, after leading DPS officials on a high speed chase along I-27.

Officials say the chase began near Hale Center just before midnight, as an officer attempted to pull over a speeding Mustang. The driver refused to stop and headed south towards Lubbock. Officers laid out tire spikes, which flattened all four of the Mustang's tires.

The vehicle finally came to a stop near the Texas motor inn at 21st and the Interstate.
