Polar Express returning for 4th season

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Polar Express is coming back for its fourth season in Lubbock.

The run will begin at the Polar Express Train Station at 6602 Marsha Sharp Fwy. on Nov. 18th and continue through Dec. 23.

Lubbock Mayor Tom Martin and Wolfforth Mayor L. C. Childers welcomed the event back to the South Plains on Wednesday

"Each year it gets bigger and better," Martin said. "I've heard so many comments over these last several years about people that have actually been able to bring their kids out here and ride the train."

Just like in the story, children are encouraged to wear their pajamas for the ride.

Families who wish to attend are encouraged to book their tickets early since space fills up quickly during the holiday season.

Ticket prices and scheduling information are available at: www.west-texas-polar-express.com.
