A new study reveals one in every six cell phones in the United Kingdom is contaminated with fecal matter. Although 95-percent of the study participants said they washed their hands after using the restroom, 92-percent of phones and 82-percent of hands had some kind of bacteria on them. Sixteen percent of hands and phones contained E-Coli, which is a dangerous bacteria associated with food poisoning. Fecal bacteria can linger on surfaces for hours, especially in warmer weather, and can be spread easily.
