Friends of the Library book sale begins today

Mahon Library is holding its annual Friends of the Library book sale this weekend. The sale begins today for members of Friends of the Library. If you are not a member you can register to become one at the doors of Mahon and the fee is $10.

The book sale is open to the public Saturday and Sunday. Hours are 9am to 5pm Friday and Saturday. If you can't go on either one of these days, on Sunday the book sale will run from 1pm to 4pm.

    A Brownfield man has been indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges after a wrong-way hit-and-run crash were stolen guns were recovered. The hit-and-run crash happened just before 9:30 p.m. on February 22, 2017 near 130th Street and Indiana Ave.
