Water conservation, student loans on ballot Tuesday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Voters across the state weighed in on 10 propositions for state constitutional amendments on Tuesday.

The measures are proposing special tax rules to encourage water conservation and letting the state borrow money to help young Texans with student loans.

The Texas Secretary of State's office will be posting live election returns on their official site as precincts report in.
