LEVELLAND, TX (KCBD) -
Levelland is moving forward with plans for a new animal shelter according to the online version of the Levelland and Hockley County News-Press. Last week the The Levelland Economic Development Corporation approved the transfer of land inside its industrial park to the City of Levelland.
The City Manager is quoted as saying a new shelter will be important for a new pet adoption program. Levelland set aside $125,000 for a new shelter in this year's budget.
