City of Lubbock Orders Three Pit Bulls To Be Euthanized
The City of Lubbock has ordered that a dangerous pack of pit bulls be euthanized after breaking into a yard and killing two other dogs.
It happened in a central Lubbock neighborhood about two weeks ago. Since then, the three pit bulls have been quarantined at the Lubbock Animal Shelter. A "dangerous dog hearing" revealed complaints from other area residents about the same pack of dogs, and city records indicated that the dogs have a history of roaming the streets.
The pit bull owners will now have an opportunity to appeal the decision.
