Libertarian Joins Commissioner Race

Five candidates are now competing for the County Commissioner job in Precinct One.

Libertarian Jerry Russell is the latest candidate to enter the race. He is a former guard for the U.S. Marshall service who pledges to abolish the county property tax.

Russell is joined by four Republicans in the race. Bill Hillstrom, Jane Cansino, W.L. Matheny, and Bill McCay. The winner of the election will succeed Kenny Maines who is not seeking re-election.
