On Oct. 24 at approximately 2:45 p.m. a man suspected of shoplifting was approached by Walmart store security at 702 W Loop 289.
As security attempted to take the suspect into custody, he attacked them with a knife. The suspect fled on a bicycle and could not be found. No one was injured.
Police describe the suspect as a short Hispanic or white male with a slight mustache wearing a red shirt with what appears to be a picture of Bruce Lee on it and possibly glasses.
