TTU Regents meet Monday, prepare for West Virginia

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Texas Tech Regents do a little housekeeping on Monday related to West Virginia's decision to join the Big 12 athletic conference.  The only item on Monday's agenda is the assignment of TV rights.

All of the Big 12 schools are asked to vote on modifying the Big TV rights to finalize West Virginia as a new member of the conference.

Texas A&M is leaving the Big 12, which follows Nebraska and Colorado.  TCU and WV are joining so that brings the number of teams back up to 11.  The West Virginia Mountaineers announced their move away from the Big East and into the Big 12 on Friday.
