More Fallout From Allegations Of City Council Racial Bias

More fallout from allegations of racial bias after the City Council's decision to restart the City Manager search.

Earlier this week, the League of United Latin American Citizens and other members of the Hispanic community accused the City Council of racism. Tuesday, Mayor Marc McDougal said race had nothing to do with the council's decision. Wednesday, Councilman Tom Martin lashed out at fellow Council Member Victor Hernandez, who Martin says is behind the allegations of racism.

"I'm sick of the race baiting, cause what he does is he gets on and says 'Well, I don't think they are racist, but I don't know what's in their heart' and he keeps saying that over and over again and I'm sick of it," said City Councilman Tom Martin.

NewsChannel 11 contacted Victor Hernandez for his reaction and he had no comment.
