Lubbock Man Pleads Guilty to Capital Murder - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock man accused of killing his 13-month old daughter has pleaded guilty to capital murder.

28-year-old Adam Ayala was indicted in the November 2002 death of Desiree Ayala. He originally told police his daughter drowned at his home in the 2600 block of First Place, but an autopsy proved she had been beaten. A short time later, Ayala admitted to hitting the child because she would not stop crying. Ayala will be sentenced monday.
