Midland Coach Accused of Indecency - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A high school basketball coach in Midland is accused of indecency with a child.

Midland police issued an arrest warrant for Lee High School Girl's Basketball Coach Dan Simmons on Thursday. Simmons' attorney said his client turned himself in to authorities on Friday morning.

A Midland detective says Simmons is accused in a November incident with a girl at the school. The detective declined to elaborate on the incident. If convicted, Simmons faces up to 20 years in prison.
